LITTLE CERAMISTS

For the little hands of Milan

A workshop for those who can't keep their hands still: squeeze, pinch, and mold!

A fun way to discover clay and awaken your creative skills: and this time you have to get your hands dirty!

During the session, we will create personalized pieces together using the pizzicato technique, using red clay and natural earth for coloring. Or we will roll out slabs and carve shapes to decorate with colorful polka dots... a totally colorful experiment!

An educational workshop that activates coordination, promotes sensory development, self-confidence, and the ability to focus on the process rather than the result.

How it works:

  • For children aged 4 to 6: presence of a guardian during the workshop (1 adult per group of up to 4/5 children)
  • Ages 6 to 16: presence of a guardian during the workshop (one adult for every 10 children)
  • Aged 16 to 18: may enter accompanied by adults and with written consent

What to do

  • Modeling with red clay
  • Creation of custom pieces
  • Decoration with engobes (clay and water) or grit
  • Any “ceramic” designs to take home immediately.

Participation fee

  • Single session: 35€
  • Series of 4 meetings: €120
  • Series of 8 meetings: €200
  • Series of 16 meetings: €300
  • Firing is not included: at the end of the lesson, together with your parents, you can choose which pieces you would like to fire, at a cost of €10 (for 1-2 pieces).
  • The pieces will be delivered after firing (approximately 40 days).
  • All materials and tools are provided by the laboratory.
  • Comfortable clothing is required — you'll get dirty (and have fun)! 🎈
  • Your piece may be damaged during firing if it is not shaped correctly — this should not happen, but it is part of the charm and unpredictability of ceramics, a living, natural material 🌋
  • During the activity, some photos may be taken for our social media accounts — always and only without recognizable faces. If you do not want this, simply notify the staff before the workshop begins.
  • The event may be postponed only if the minimum number of participants is not reached.
